Frank Blueming
Frank Blueming has been involved with the building industry for over 30 years.
He started work in the industry as a carpentry apprentice and over the years established the Blueming Group of companies which include, Period Extensions & Designs, Bayside Extensions and Lincoln Homes.
His extensive knowledge of construction and attention to detail, sees him lead a team of expert Architects, Designers, and skilled Trades in creating spaces which delight and inspire.
Frank has been a member of the HIA since 2003 and in 2015 joined the HIA judging panel for New Homes, a role he still maintains today.
Frank continues to be hands on in the businesses. He regularly visits projects under construction, liaising with the trades and clients. Frank keeps a meticulous eye on the progress of each job from start to finish and is always available to his staff, clients and trades.
NICOLA BELL
As the Business Manager, Nicola oversees the financial aspects of the business to OH&S, the general wellbeing of the staff as well as overseeing client liaison.
Underlying all her dealings, be it with our clients, suppliers, staff or trades is the mantra ‘always deliver above expectations’.
In 2002, she commenced employment with the Period Extensions & Designs and continues to successfully manage the operations of the business.
RODNEY ORD
With over 40 years’ experience in the building industry, 20 as a builder in his own right, Rod has extensive industry knowledge. He is both a Past President of the HIA Victoria, Past Non -Executive Director of the HIA National Board of Directors and a panel member of the Building Commission (now VBA) meaning Rod has a high industry profile.
Rods role as our General Manager allows him to ply his skills and expertise in this market segment to ensure our projects are delivered professionally, seamlessly and to a high standard.
Amanda Jones
Amanda’s design journey started 14 years ago when she decided to follow her residential project design passion. After receiving coaching and training, Amanda made the move from the banking and finance industry (her commerce degree is in commercial law and marketing), to a career in high quality residential design.
Having personally renovated properties in Australia & New Zealand, Amanda understands the importance of designing spaces that flow, are filled with light, and have a ‘place for everything’. Her clients often comment, “Amanda really listened to what I wanted to achieve. This was reflected in the design she presented".
Amanda is exceptionally well organised and possess outstanding communication skills. She likes to keep in touch with her clients throughout the design & build process and often; long after they have moved in!
Bill Blankfield
Bill has been designing extensions, renovations and new homes for over 28 years. His expertise and vision has won him numerous awards including MBA awards and HIA awards, and 2 of which have been voted Best Extensions Nationally.
Bill loves a challenge and is passionate and motivated about adding value to existing homes. Bill prides himself on his customer service and is enthusiastic about taking a Homeowners vision and turning it into a reality.
Michael Blueming
Michael commenced work with Period Extensions & Designs as an apprentice carpenter in 2005. Following the completion of his apprenticeship, he worked as a carpenter, where he further developed his knowledge and experience within the building industry. In 2017, Michael took up the role as a Site Supervisor.
As a Site Supervisor, Michael manages the projects under construction including liaising with clients, trades, and material suppliers. Michael strives to deliver projects on time, and on budget, with the best outcome for the client.
